Developing Managers specialises in Management and Leadership Development solutions to businesses of all sizes with the aim of generating early and discernible Returns on Investment (ROI) for each intervention we implement. We provide training to business from our wide range of short business focussed courses that are optimised for delivery in 1 or 2 days and provide a number of “takeaways” that can be implemented straightaway.
Developing Managers is a CMI Centre specialising in the delivery of ‘Management and Leadership’ as well as ‘Coaching and Mentoring’ qualifications. We offer qualifications at Levels 3, 5 and 7 as these generally equate to ‘first line manager/team leader’, ‘middle manager’ and ‘senior or strategic leader positions’. In addition to this range we are also very pleased to be able to offer qualifications at Award, Certificate, Diploma and where it is available Extended Diploma. If you are wondering what these qualification levels mean then typically you can achieve the Award with one module and one assignment, the Certificate with three modules and three assignments and the Diploma with five modules and five assignments. The Extended Diploma is usually nine modules and nine assignments. Our management and leadership qualifications are flexible in as much that we provide you with your choice of distance learning materials from the range that are available; you can view the range of modules in our online store at www.developingmanagers.org/store. Once you sign up for your qualification. You will then be able to make a choice of modules from the list available. The coaching and mentoring qualifications do have some options but these are not as broad as in management and leadership; please contact us if you have some specific needs. For individuals seeking one of these qualifications we deliver through tutor supported distance learning which we provide through our own virtual learning environment (VLE). Once you have enrolled on one of our courses you will gain access to your tutor and we will normally respond to questions from you within 24 hours or, exceptionally, up to 48 hours so you are never far away from help and support when it is needed. To help and support local as well as international students the process of submitting assignments and also receiving feedback is handled through the VLE with the benefit being that this considerably speeds up the process between submitting your assignments and getting feedback so that you can know and understand if you are working in the right way to achieve your qualification. You may be wondering why you should choose us as your preferred centre and it might help if we explain that we have been working with the CMI for over 15 years and have been responsible for writing and supporting as ‘expert consultants’ the creation of some of the distance learning materials that are provided by the CMI.
